Kyle Basilius is a licensed architect with nearly 20 years of expertise in healthcare design and planning. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, he is a Principal and Senior Healthcare Planner at Parkin Architects, where he leads projects across the United States, Canada, and Denmark. Kyle has collaborated extensively with clinicians and clients to deliver innovative solutions that meet the complex needs of healthcare environments.
A recognized leader in his field, Kyle contributes to global initiatives such as the WHO and WFP-led INITIATE² Infectious Disease Treatment Module (IDTM) project, serving as the volunteer technical architect. He co-chairs the ACHA Continuing Competence Committee, participates in the CSA Z8000 Ambulatory Care Working Group, and is a founding member of the Design in Mental Health Network’s North American Chapter. His professional certifications include ACHA, NCARB, and EDAC.
